Elderly Couple Lose Everything in a House Fire

Hi, my names Matt and I’ve decided to start a fundraiser to help Kim & Don, an elderly couple who have tragically lost everything in a house fire at Margate.

I originally met Kim & Don when they enquired about purchasing a shed I had up for sale. They reached out to me and explained their situation and that they were planning on living in the shed until they figure out what to do next. I decided to reduce the price significantly only to cover labour costs of dismantling the shed and delivering it to their property however I’m not competent to rebuild it for them. Any money raised will go towards helping them set this up.

They originally were hesitant of me making a Go Fund Me page for them however I believe it’s the only way to get them back on their feet.

Imagine losing everything you've worked for, everything you hold dear, in the blink of an eye. That's the reality facing this elderly couple. To make matters worse, they also lost their faithful

companion, an 18-year-old dog who perished in the blaze, adding immeasurable grief to their already heavy burden.

With no insurance to fall back on, they are now left to navigate the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from scratch. From clothing to furniture and sentimental keepsakes to basic necessities.
