El's Fight Like Hell

Hey everyone, 

I never thought I'd be making a Go Fund Me, especially for my sissy. But here we are, and here's what's happening- Ellen was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in her left breast on September 19, 2017 at the age of 27 (almost 28). 

After meeting with sugeons, radiologists, oncologists and all sorts of nurses and clinic staff it has been decided that we're going to start with a clinical trail at the U of M for neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Then most likely surgery. The rest of the treatment plan is unknown at the moment and will depend on chemo results along with other tests. However, there will definitely be more to this journey. We all know how incredibly strong and positive El is. And she is holding true to that through the beginning stages of this journey. She is handling this with such grace that it's both admirable and unbelievable. The only time this boss of a woman has shed tears was when her hubby informed her she needed to eat more vegetables. In true Ellen fashion :) 

We also all know that cancer sucks. Physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially. And for that last one, we have this Go Fund Me. I wanted to give people an opportunity to bless Ellen and Dan financially while she fights like hell. Cancer is expensive and not something anyone plans for in their budget. If you are able, any amount you can share is appreciated more than words could ever describe. Any and all donations will go to her medical expenses and living expenses.
