Helping Heather Heal

    Some know me as Heather, others as the care-free Kitty. You may have heard about my accident that resulted in a serious injury. It was a week ago while out of town for my birthday.
    For those of you that don't, (wish I had a cooler story) while I was exiting my tent I tripped and broke my fibula.
    This is an extreme inconvenience. I cannot drive (I drive a manual) and I've been order by the doctor not to work until further notice (min 6 weeks).
   With me being a hairstylist. Not only has this made it impossible to recieve income but it makes it extremely hard to see my 3 children.
   At my last appointment I was cleared and scheduled for surgery on Friday the 26th. I was also informed that I must pay $1300 before I can have the surgery.
    Unfortunately, I don't qualify for insurance through my work for another month. (Great timing, right?) After already paying about 400-500 out of pocket for appointments already I have no other choice but to reach out to my friends and family for support.
     I wish I had more time to figure this out but I'm risking a more serious procedure the longer I wait. Anything at this point will help. Thank you in advance to anyone who finds it in their heart to help someone in a difficult time.
