Gifts for the Stagner Family

Donation protected
Hey friends! As many of you know Nolan's family is going through a big trial right now and I have set up this fund (yes, I begged them for their blessing ;) ) for us to help out. Below I posted Lacy's last post of what this precious family is going through. We can donate to them online or, they also said giftcards for food and stuffs would be great as well. Their address is 3509 Solano Court Arlington TX 76017.

Thanks guys!
Chelsea Henderson

P.S. Please diregard the 'goal amount'. It made me enter one in so I came up with a number. Any gift would be a blessing!

"So much happiness filled our hearts when Owen made us "Stagner Party of 3." After waiting and preparing for nine months for his arrival our little family was complete. Just 4 weeks after our little Owen joined our family the most terrifying and dreadful "C" word nobody wants to hear presented itself.

A few weeks ago my very best friend and the love of my life, Nolan (Ronny or Ron to some of you) was diagnosed with Stage 1 Nonseminoma Testicular Cancer...(Yeah, we were shocked too!)
Within the past month we've gone through several tests and a surgery to remove the source and today we made arrangements to start chemotherapy. Although this type of cancer has a high cure rate, it is very aggressive and can spread rapidly if not caught early on. Right now tests show the cancer has been contained and it appears no other areas have been affected. We have a long road to travel physically, emotionally, and financially but we are ready to tackle this and get Ronny back in his hockey skates and on the golf course!

This past month has been a whirlwind of emotions but with Gods grace every day gets a little better. Sometimes it's hard to comprehend being given something that brings you so much joy then be given something that flips your world upside down and put knots in your stomach within a month of each other. God says he will never give you more than you can handle but I thought surely he was crazy on several occasions. I will say Owen has been our bright light through this is entire process and Gods timing couldn't be more perfect. It's easy to let your mind wander and fixate on information doctors or internet present but once again, God proves otherwise in 1 Corinthians 2:5, "That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." We are hopeful and cannot wait to get the next six weeks over with!

Yes, I am nervous, terrified, and have a stomach full of knots but I wanted to share this very personal information because I believe in the power of prayer. Matthew 18:20 says, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." So I am asking you to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Specifically praying for comfort and ease during chemo treatments and for Ronnys body to adapt to the chemo easily. We don't know what is supposed to stem from all of this but we know God is not finished with us just yet!"
