Help Sr Elna Receive Her Award

Sister Teresita Elna Oporto, FSPif, graduated with her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in 2007 from Newman University in Colorado Springs.  She returned to her native Philippines where she is the Director of a Special Care Home for homeless and special needs children.  She has a very limited budget to care for the children, and she has protected them from ravaging hurricanes and mud slides, in addition to providing for all of their daily needs.  Because of the special and spiritual nature of her work, which reflects the values of the university and of the Founders, The Sisters, Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Sr Elna has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious Beata Netemeyer Award for 2014-15.  She cannot afford to fly to the United States to receive the award, and I want for us to fund that flight for her.  A round trip flight from Manila to Wichita, KS is about $1200.  Please help me to raise the money needed to get this very special woman to Wichita KS in the Spring to receive this well-deserved award.
