My Fight Against Human Trafficking

Each year, approximately 21 million people are victims of sex trafficking. Sex trafficking is not prostitution or girls making poor decisions. It is when a trafficker forces women, through violence and psychological manipulation, to have sex 10-30 times a day for money. And, this modern-day slavery occurs right here in the U.S.
DeliverFund is working to end this slavery. As other organizations combat sex trafficking through research, advocacy, and victim support, DeliverFund takes a proactive approach by hunting the traffickers—ensuring that they can no longer traffic others again. Using advanced software and years of tactical experience, DeliverFund provides law enforcement with information packages that can pinpoint the location of traffickers and identify connections between trafficking rings.
I am asking for your help in this fight. I was recently hired as a part-time analyst for DeliverFund. In this role I will use the best available technologies and methodologies developed by special operations forces and intelligence agencies to locate traffickers and provide information to law enforcement. Your generous donation goes towards purchasing the software required for me to create accurate and liberating information.
The facts:
· Polaris, the nation’s largest sex trafficking hotline, receives an average of 100 sex trafficking tips every single day. That’s 36,500 active leads a year.
· The State Department estimates that approximately 16,000 people are trafficked as sex slaves into the U.S. each year
· The average age of sex trafficking victims is between 12-14 years old
· DeliverFund estimates that 5-10% of the sex ads on Backpage (one of the largest online sex marketplaces) are sex trafficking victims

About me: I (Jack Weiss) am a recent college graduate living in Baltimore MD. As I work day-to-day, I have been looking for how to better serve my community. After voicing this concern with a friend, he connected me to the leaders of DeliverFund, Nic McKinley, and Mike Fullilove (https://www.deliverfund.org/who-we-are). Both retired special forces, Nic and Mike have taken their skills and put them towards ending sex trafficking the United States. That is where this GoFundMe came to be. DeliverFund has offered me the opportunity to work as a part-time analyst, using their unique computer software to produce packages that will help law enforcement better track sex traffickers. Each software license costs $3500 dollars, the cost of which I am responsible for covering. My withdrawal plan is simple: after $1200 has been raised, it will be donated directly to the DeliverFund website, and at the point, DeliverFund will purchase and train me in the software. After that, the remaining funds will be raised in the following 6 months to cover the rest of the license.
