Homeless Vet In Need

This is my friend Ryan.  He and I served together on Active Duty from 2001-2005 in Germany and Iraq with the 1st Squadron 4th US Cavalry Regiment.  He and his wife have recently come to Kentucky to start over, after some turbulent times in their home state of Washington. 

They currently do not have a place to live, or a vehicle to call their own.  The VA will set them up with housing, but they are required to wait until October before they can be placed through the VA program.  They have stayed with my wife and I for a couple of weeks, and I've also helped them pay for a weekly hotel out of my own pocket. 

I'm now asking for some additional support to help keep this combat vet and his wife off the streets (for the next couple of weeks).  Once they get established, they plan to bring their daughter here to Kentucky as well.  They are both decent people who are just looking for a chance to start over.
