Help Kevin Avoid Deportation

Our family member and friend, Kevin Jimenez was brought to the United States when he was 5 years old. He has grown up to be a hardworking responsible individual. Kevin has gone to elementary, middle school, and high school in the United States and doesn't know of any other reality but his life here. Before his unexpecteded detainment where he was brought to Krome Detention Center, Kevin lived with his elderly parents whom he helped financially by working two jobs while going to school at the same time. Kevin graduated high school with honors and recieved a full scolarship to attend the University of Central Florida. Due to his immigratory status, he was unable to maintain the scholarship and continued school at a local college while working two jobs and only being able to pay for one class per semester. I still remember how frustriated he was as he felt all his hardwork and dedication in was all worked in vain. 

Kevin was detained two weeks ago without any notification, destroying his parents whom had given up everything they had in Colombia in efforts to give Kevin a brighter future. As emotionally wrecking as this has been to all his friends and family, it has also had an economic blow to his senior parents whom still work to maintain their everyday living. He was denied his bond and was scheduled to have his next hearing October 11, since then we have had to hire a two lawyers while maintaining other court costs that have amounted to more the $20,000. He has been transfered to a more expensive facility in Keywest, and the family can barely hold on to their expenses. 

Kevin is one of the most hardworking individuals we've known and deserves the opportunity to stay in the country he has grown up in. Any small amount will help immensely, thank you all so much!
