St. Vincent Relief Fund
Tax deductible
Humanity's Promise International stands in solidarity with Sankofa to help provide mutual-aid relief to the people of St. Vincent in the face of the devastating volcanic eruption that occurred on April 9, 2021.
The eruption has resulted in over 18,000 evacuations from areas surrounding the island’s La Soufriere Volcano, but the island is still feeling the wide-ranging effects as the ash has contaminated major water supplies. Schools and churches have become makeshift shelters as the island braces itself for the possibility of more eruptions in the coming days, with many residents unable to flee to safety.
Currently, there are 76 shelters across the island, all of which are in desperate need for supplies such as clean water; food; personal protection equipment; hygiene products; cots; and so much more.
Please join Sankofa and Humanity’s Promise in supporting our brothers and sisters in St. Vincent. All of the funds collected via this campaign will go directly to the areas most affected by this devastating natural disaster. Please donate generously today.
