EHS Mental Health 5k Fundraiser

This fundraiser is held in honor of Sarah Landauer and Cyris Geary, past students at EHS, for mental health.
Sarah passed due to medical reasons, and running was her form of self-care. Her love of running is the inspiration for this type of event.
Cyris was a member of the class of 2021 at Eastside. Cyris could put a smile on anyone's face. Sadly, his struggle with mental health contributed to his premature passing.
Money fundraised through this event will go towards the JED foundation. JED protects the emotional health and well being of the nation’s teen and young adults. JED furnishes mental health, substance abuse, and suicide prevention programs to more than 2,000 colleges and universities, around 2.5 million students in total. Also, they recently launched a initiative that provides mental health, substance abuse, and suicide prevention programs for high school students. They are committed to equipping young people with the skills and knowledge they need to help themselves and their peers.
