Elizabeth Hinson

On Friday 10/3 a little after 1pm, Elizabeth was in a car accident. She was air lifted to the Medical Center in Columbus. She sustained some pretty serious injuries, including head trauma, several broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and a shattered L1 vertebrae. Since then she's been in ICU on a ventilator and in a medically induced coma to give her time for her brain to heal. Right now, it's just a waiting game. The swelling and pressure in her brain needs to go down and stabilize before they can bring her out of sedation. Then they will assess her other injuries and be able to determine if there's any permanent damage to her brain. We thank everyone for all the calls, texts, prayers and visits over the past few days.
