We started our farm about 6 few years ago to supply our community with pastured-raised non-GMO soy-free, corn-free poultry meat & eggs.
The business was started for the children to learn about all aspects of business (taxes, fees, marketing, customers, honest practices, sustainability, etc.). They have learned the feeling of a job well done and knowing that what you do affects others.
As of now, our farm generates over 60 dozen eggs A DAY - ALL OF WHICH ARE WASHED, CANDLED, & SIZED BY HAND. That's a lot of eggs!! An egg washer would save us tremendous time & allow us to grow, as well.
We need it AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. It takes months after ordering the egg washer for it to be delivered.
The support will mean a lot to our family and encourage our young farmers. It will remind us that small agriculture IS a priority with some folks & that the hard work it takes on a daily, weekly, monthly, annual basis is appreciated.
