Efrain Moreno

Efrain Moreno, 57, a Graniterock team member, died in a car accident while driving home from work on Friday, Jan. 12. The accident happened just before 6 p.m. on Bolsa Rd. near Gilroy when a truck entered his lane of traffic.
He died at the scene.
Efrain is survived by his wife of 25 years, Maria, daughters Daniela and Dacia and son Efrain Jr.
He dedicated his energy and time to his family and was known to always give a helping hand.
He was a major sports fan, especially soccer and martial arts.
He lived most of his life in Hollister, where he was a proud Baler at San Benito High School.
Efrain joined Graniterock in September 2000. He served in several roles as a heavy equipment operator, and most recently worked as the plant operator at Graniterock's asphalt plant in Redwood City.
Funds raised here will go directly to Efrain's family to help cover funeral costs.
