Rehab for a loved one

A loved one reached out to Tad and I a few weeks ago asking for help.  She has been struggling with drug addiction for a while. This is the first time she reached out and was willing to go to rehab. She wants to do better for herself and her daughter.

Tad and I are honoring her reaching out. We are sending her to the Nitschke Center which is a residential rehab center here in Green Bay.  After a lot of research and prayer we feel this is a good option for her, her daughter, and our family.

We were hesitant to put this out there. But a few dear friends encouraged us to reach out to help with the financial burden. So here we are. Any amount would be a blessing.

The money raised will go directly to her rehab ($8330) first. The extra money we are asking for will go to travel expenses that it took to get her here as well as a place she stayed at while waiting to get in to rehab. 

While she is in rehab, we are caring for her 3 year old daughter who is on the autistic spectrum. Our foster care training will come in handy.  If you can help with supplies for her (diapers, winter clothes-she's coming from the south, etc) that would be another way you could contribute if you are moved to do so. Whether you give financially or not, we would really appreciate your prayers. Prayers for clarity, guidance, and the fruits of the Spirit to abound...for our loved ones and for us.
