Edward's Medical/Hospice Stay Fund

My Dad (Edward Borowy) suffered an aortic dissection in February (large tear in the aortic valve). He was life flighted for emergency surgery, the surgery was successful at fixing the tear. While the tear was open he lost oxygen to the brain and suffered a stroke and anoxic brain damage. Since his surgery he has been in an unconscious awaken state.
Our goal was to give him six months to recover and come out of the unconscious state which we were told would be very rare. It has now been 8 months and time for him to be at peace.
He is now at Hospice of the Western Reserve being cared for by the amazing staff as he begins his journey to his final resting place. Our goal is to raise funds to help offset the costs of the skilled nursing facility and hospice care which are not covered by insurance.

If the Benefit (October 22nd) and Go Fund Me exceed the fundraising goal we will make a donation to Hospice of the Western Reserve in honor of Edward Borowy.
