Edward Kapps funeral expenses

Hello. My name is marissa, i am edwards eldest daughter. My father was diagnosed with stage 4 NSCLC SQUAMOUS lung cancer may 2021. His fight with cancer has come to an end JANUARY 24 2024 at 4:35pm. We are grateful for the many years we got to spend with him, we celebrated countless birthdays, holidays and many milestones (most recently the birth of his second grandson) within the past week he improved, only to find out he has pneumonia in his good lung (the right one) at that time he was given his chemo treatment, we were told he was no longer able to receive any more chemo treatments, as he became weak and unable to eat or move, my dad then began to feel better… only to take a turn for the worse and passed away… the purpose of this gofund me is to help with his funeral expenses

my father was a very generous man even when he had very little, he would work long hours at any job he could get to help support his family of 6 children… when our mother was sick he would care for her and us. He would spend his last dollar on us and go without eating when we had very little. Some days I would not see my father a lot because he would work long hours… I remember i would sit on the counter near the wall phone and call my dad at night to talk to him when he was at work… he would take us to appointments, the zoo, stores… he even helped out our family on both sides and even the neighbor hood kids who would come over. He made sure no one left hungry. He worked on cars, computers and fixed any electronic that was broken… his favorite job he worked for was thermo dynamics before they went union… he made good money and was happy.
