I am luanching a go fund me campaign to try to raise money for this wonderful family. These two young ladies are simply amazing. Their committment to both academic and spritual practice is unmatchable. The world needs young women like this to become inspired leaders and to help redirect and heal our deeply fractured world community. These young women truly deserve an opportunity to complete their education and go to college. I am reaching out to you today to ask you if you could find it in your heart to offer a little bit of support. My name is tsering wangmo (older sister) and my name is Pema yangki (younger sister in gray). We belong to a Buddhist family in Tso Pema India. Our dad is a Lama and our mom is also a practitioner and a house wife. Our parents have no consistent income source and my Dad works hard to offer his services doing puja's and prayers for small donation as well as helping a lot of students from the West setup retreats and visits. He uses the offering donations to support our studies. Sadly, he has been suffering from hepatitis B so it becomes increasingly difficult for him. In addition, the cost of living here has skyrocketed with rents nearly doubling as more Western dharma students and wealthy Indian families visit Tso Pema as a pilgrimage and a summer refuge for vacation in the cool mountains of the Himalayas. We are now 18 and 17 years old respectively. Now tsering wangmo is in the 12th class and will graduate in one year. Pema yangki (me) I am in 11th class and have 2 more years to complete. . We are going to a semi private/public school at Tso pema. Here in India, free government schools have very poor education so if you want to go to college you must pay to go to a good preparatory school. After 2 years, I want to go to college and have the dream to complete my college education in Finance. My sister has a dream to go to college in 1 year and complete her studies as a teacher. To do this we need to find support to pay for our next two years of high school education. We hope we will get scholarships to college because of our excellent grades. It is important for us to be successful so we can help take care of our parents and keep their lives happy and healthy in future. We would be so grateful for any support you can offer. Thank you!
