Hi!
My name is Ottilie. I’m 16 years old and I live in the Netherlands. Next January, I will be attending one of seventeen United World Colleges, or UWC schools. UWC is an organization that makes education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. These schools are located all around the world! I will be attending UWC Waterford Kamhlaba, the school in eSwatini also known as Swaziland! In addition to studying, I’ll be teaching English to local children, cook for the elderly and take care of animals.
Every year, approximately 20 Dutch students are selected to attend a UWC. I am very grateful to be one of them! Although UWC is covering a lot of the costs, there are considerable additional expenses (such as travel expenses) and I hope you can help me realise this amazing opportunity.
