Educational support for the Wawok boys

My name is Tammy Watson and I'm one of Natalie's sisters.

On the morning of December 25, Natalie Payant was on her way to celebrate Christmas with her 2 boys Eryk (15) and Justyn (13) Wawok when her car went off the road and Natalie, age 47, was fatally injured.

Natalie was loved by so many and always will be. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, niece, and friend. Her witty, funny, and caring personality will never be forgotten.

In January 2020, Natalie's youngest son, Justyn was rushed to the hospital with an unknown virus. For 6 weeks, Natalie and Fred stood by Justyn's side as they were told several times he wasn't going to make it through the night. The long-term effect of Justyn's virus left him suffering from brain damage. In June 2020, Justyn was finally released from CHEO. Fred, the boys father, had his entire home, retrofitted to allow for Justyn's wheelchair. Justyn still requires full-time care and will for many years to come.

Fred now has a difficult challenge ahead, grieving the loss of Natalie while still raising 2 teenage boys, one now with special needs.

We have created this “Go Fund Me” to provide them the much-needed financial assistance for the boys' education. We understand that many have been financially impacted in the last year, however, for those who are able to donate any amount to assist with the boys' education and care, it would be greatly appreciated.
