Educational support for Sunday Friends' families

The pandemic has undoubtedly highlighted the disparities between the haves and have nots especially when it comes to education. A recent survey amongst the underprivileged families affiliated with Sunday Friends revealed that 80% of the group lost their jobs due to COVID -19 and didn’t receive unemployment benefits. 33.8% currently has a household income of less than $800 monthly.

Sunday Friends' program empowers families to break the generational cycle of poverty by fostering positive development in children while educating and guiding parents to support their children's life success.

I am collaborating with Sunday Friends to help bring technology closer to these underprivileged families. We are initiating a project to raise $15,000 to purchase 50 laptops to help these families and give them the resources that they truly deserve and need in these tough times.
