Education fund for Emma Specht

Donation protected
On the morning of July 6th, Lance Corporal Caleb Edward Specht passed away in a traffic accident on his way to work. He was 32 years young. A veteran of the war in Iraq, Caleb is best remembered by his fellow Marines as an incredibly gifted leader whose exceptional talent was eclipsed only by the humility with which he carried out his selfless duties for his Marines and his country.

Caleb's departure from this earth has left a hole in the hearts of many of us. In particular, he leaves behind his five-year-old daughter Emma.

As Caleb's brothers-in-arms, the Marines of Blackfoot Company, 3d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, United States Marine Corps, request your assistance in raising a $20,000 education fund for Emma Specht. We seek to honor Caleb's memory by doing our part to make sure Emma is provided for in his absence.

Caleb's passing was a tragic reminder that, even when the war is over, we still have an obligation to continue serving one another. Our fight to give Emma a college education has just begun, and we hope you will join us in our newest mission. Thank you.
