Education Fund for the Daughters of Scott Bogumil

Donation protected
In the blink of any eye, our lives can change.  Saturday evening, February 13, 2021, after celebrating Valentine’s Day with his wife Stacey, Scott Bogumil (52) suffered a fatal heart attack, leaving behind his wife of 24 years and his two daughters, Skylar (a Senior at Fenwick High School) and Sydney (a Freshman at Benet Academy).

Scott dedicated his career to enriching children's lives through his work as a high school guidance counselor and boys basketball coach. Scott spent 17 years as a guidance counselor at Libertyville High School, and the previous 11 years at Gordon Tech high School. His coaching career spanned 6 years at Northridge Prep High School, head coach for 11 years at Libertyville High School, and 7 years at Gordon Tech High School. Scott also served as a head coach in the Mercury Elite Basketball Club, and the famous Five Star Basketball Camp. Scott coached and mentored many children over the years, treating them with much love and kindness, as if they were his own.

Stacey and the girls are now faced with their new reality, life without her beloved husband and devoted father. It would be greatly appreciated if we all did what we can to try to lessen the future educational financial burden, that comes with this great loss.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, love and support you have shown to the Bogumil Family.
