Educating Girls in Kenya Fundrasing

I am reaching out to all my friends, colleagues, and others who have cross my path and collaborated with me to support this great cause.  For every donation, I will equally match.  Our goal is 10,000. I would like you to give to Every Girl is Important for a good reason. Not my good reason, but your good reason. Why would I write such a thing? Because I realize that people give to many charities for many reasons.  I need your support more than ever.  To help others, touches a very human part of us, and it rightly gives us a feeling of warmth and connection.


Any donation is appreciated and is tax deductible.  When it comes to donating, no amount shall be too small.

Your reasons for giving may be your own, but the effect of those gifts is to transform the lives of many deserving adolescent girls in rural Kenya, and to position the girls to change the world with competent, courageous, and compassionate leadership.


There are many young adolescent girls who do not have an opportunity to pursue high school education.  These girls we seek to serve are born into poverty in villages surrounding Eldoret, Kenya, a town near the border with Uganda.  Many of the girls who will attend the school live in villages located a long distance from Eldoret, the site of the high school.  For this reason, we would like the girls to live on school grounds.  The girls are willing to make valuable contributions to society and should have the opportunity to spend their youth as high school students.  The nuns and the girls’ families cannot afford to build the school and thus they need your help. They need a school in which they can gain knowledge and dispositions needed to build a thriving community.  These girls will receive an education delivered by professional educators in the Sisters of Assumption congregation.

People interested in this project have asked how they can participate and help, as well as how they can visit Kenya and meet the young girls.  So we have set up an Every Girl is Important School Project Go Fund Me page to help build the boarding school and for the girls to achieve their dream of continuing their studies to complete high school and go on to college.  We aim to raise $10,000 through the this campaign for financial aid because we want to ensure the benefit of adolescent girls.
