Educating Girls in Nepal: COMPLETED

As part of our upcoming trip to Nepal, Saruna and I would like to do some small project that leverages our public health knowledge with your generous donations to educate rural girls about menstrual hygiene and distribute sanitary napkins.  We will collaborate with public health students in Kathmandu and visit high schools in a rural Western Nepali region where "menstrual exile", or Chhaupadi, is prevalent.  We will self-pay all expenses EXCEPT we are asking for your donations to locally purchase sanitary napkins for distribution.  Any donation will help us to purchase pads for the maximum numbers of girls for a sustained length of time.  ($12.00 will provide enough for a one-year supply for one girl. ) Thanks!
