Kranti’s website!
Kranti empowers daughters of sex workers who grew up in Mumbai’s Red Light Areas to become agents of social change and happiness.
In Kranti’s safe home, the girls, ages 15-24 years, are supported through therapy, yoga, meditation, both formal and informal education, and leadership training, to go on to solve many of the social problems they faced growing up.
Some of our girls are the first girls from Mumbai’s Red Light Areas to go to University in the U.S.A., they are teachers for children in low-income neighborhoods, music therapists for children who have faced abused, art therapists for children with terminal illness, yoga instructors, and some have gone back to their community of sex workers to empower them.
Kranti currently supports 30 girls, and we are raising funds for:
* Tuition fees
* Accomodation and food while they’re studying abroad
* Extra curricular classes, eg.: art, music
Donate to empower girls from the Red Light Area to become our future leaders!
