Eduardo Hernandez has been a long-time member of the Pasadena Community Job Center. Ever ready to lend a hand and support his fellow day laborers, Eduardo has been an active participant at community meetings and marches. Eduardo and his guitar bring cheer and community to all at the Center.
On January 22, after suffering from severe stomach pain, Eduardo went to the hospital where he underwent a number of tests. The results revealed devastating news – Eduardo has terminal cancer. With doctor’s saying he only has a few weeks left to live, Eduardo wishes to reunite with his family, whom he has not seen for more than 10 years.
With the support of staff at the Pasadena Community Job Center, Eduardo’s family in Mexico has been notified of his condition and, through the Mexican Consulate, are seeking a Humanitarian Visa. We need your help to cover the costs of the visas, lodging, and expenses for Eduardo’s wife and eldest son so that they may be with him at his bedside.

The Pasadena Community Job Center, is fiscally sponsored by NDLON, a 501c3, that will pass along all proceeds to the Hernandez Family for their expenses.
