Edgar’s Recovery and Support

Family, friends, and wonderful willing supporters.

Our family is looking to the community, for any help during this time.

Our family’s home was struck by a reckless driver, completely destroying and running into a bedroom where Edgar was sleeping. There is severe damage to the home but at this time we really need the support of the community to make sure that Edgar can recover and get the treatment and help he needs. Due to the accident, Edgar has suffered very serious injuries from a broken arm, broken shoulder, broken ribs, a punctured lung, and severed discs on his spine. The doctors have made us aware that he may no longer be able to walk. For those of you that know Edgar, know how much he loves walking his dogs, exercising, playing Sunday League Soccer, going to concerts, and for him to have everything completely change over night has everyone at a loss of words. Edgar is one of the most hardworking, motivating, and giving individuals, he is always studying to better himself and his education in hopes to eventually become a Dentist here in the US. In the next few days Edgar will be going through various surgeries and will not be able to work during his recovery. We are very saddened to see him in this position, Nonetheless, we are hopeful he will beat the odds. We ask that you please share and donate if you can. Anything truly helps. Thank you to the community and those that were there to assist with the tragic accident.

La casa de nuestra familia fue golpeada por un conductor imprudente, destruyéndola por completo y chocando contra una habitación donde Edgar dormía. Hay daños severos en el hogar, pero en este momento realmente necesitamos el apoyo de la comunidad para asegurarnos de que Edgar pueda recuperarse y recibir el tratamiento y la ayuda que necesita. Debido al accidente, Edgar ha sufrido lesiones muy graves de un brazo roto, un hombro roto, costillas rotas, un pulmón perforado y discos cortados en la columna vertebral. Los médicos nos han hecho saber que es posible que ya no pueda caminar. Para aquellos de ustedes que conocen a Edgar, saben cuánto le encanta pasear a sus perros, hacer ejercicio, jugar futbol, ir a conciertos, y que todo haya cambiado completamente de la noche a la mañana nos tiene a todos sin palabras. Edgar es una de las personas más trabajadoras, motivadoras y generosas, siempre está estudiando para mejorarse a sí mismo y su educación con la esperanza de convertirse en dentista aquí en Estados Unidos. En los próximos días Edgar estará pasando por varias cirugías y no podrá trabajar durante su recuperación. Estamos muy tristes de verlo en esta posición. Sin embargo, tenemos la esperanza de que superará las probabilidades. Le pedimos que por favor compartan y donen si pueden. Cualquier cosa realmente ayuda. Gracias a la comunidad y a los que estuvieron allí para ayudar con el trágico accidente.
