With a heavy heart and tears in my eyes I write to announce Edgar passed away after many long weeks of suffering.

Everyone that has met my brother knows what a kind and big hearted man he was. He was always making the best of any bad situation life put in his path. He truly made his own destiny.

I was lucky enough to spend time with him during his last couple of days and through the pain and difficulty breathing, he would talk about the future. He wanted to go back to work with his team, he wanted to meet my baby and take him swimming in the ocean for his first time just like he took me to the ocean to swim for my first time, he yearned to see his dog Blackie and to take him on a walk at the beach as it had become a daily ritual for them.

My brother was never one to let his circumstances bring him down and I know he doesn’t want any of us to be sad. I know he’s watching over us and wants us to celebrate his life. He enjoyed life at its fullest and I know he had no regrets.
