Our journey as Heart parents began 6/27/17 when our daughter Edleigh Plaisted was born.
She has survived 4 major heart surgeries, cardiac catheterization, a cold (major deal in heart babies), and countless pokes, xrays, ekgs ect.
Even through all of this she still smiles, laughs, and trusts with her whole heart.
There will be more surgeries down the road. However, right now she is in a really good state because of Boston Children's Hospital and University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital. Amazing care from both.
Through all of this journey financially we have been suffering. We have had some very generous people/family in our lives supporting as much as they can. With our daughter she cannot be in daycare care and has specific needs as she continues to grow. My wife has decreased her hours at work significantly to care for Eddie. From medical bills to normal monthly bills it's been adding up.
We appreciate any and all donations.
My parents Tim and Karen will be hosting a fundraiser for Edleigh/us on Saturday August 11th. Times are from 1pm to 4pm.
