Eddie's Accident
Donation protected
Hi,
A lot of you already know that Ed (Chipper) had a serious farm accident and we came close to losing him.
A broken sternum and hyper-extended his neck to the point of decapitation. He was paralyzed for a time, but with therapy and tons of attention from Sue his right side is functional again and his left is pretty good to. There are other complications that should get better with time.
He was in the hospital for 62 days or 1488 hours or 89,280 minutes or 5,356,800 seconds. A long time. He is home now, but will be continuing with therapy for a quite a long time.
Because of the accident they weren't able to open their farmstand this year, Hearthside Farms.
With the loss of the income from the farm they are starting to struggle with the medical expenses they are having to pay. Insurance covers some of the expenses but, it doesn't pay for all of it.
Lots of you have expressed a need to help in some way. What better way than a monetary donation to help them with the medical expenses they have incurred and will be incurring as time goes on.
Thanking you in advance.
