Safe water project in Gaza

People in Gaza are in crisis, let's make a difference altogether! 

Earth Caravan, a global interfaith peace journey

Tao sangha is a international Buddhist community spread in 8 countries. We have a non-profit organization, Earth Caravan, whose mission is to share peace, happiness and healing in the world by supporting people in need in many different ways:
carrying out projects together with local people, creating musical and peace events, shiatsu therapy, healing workshops and also interreligious prayers.
We are active in Asia, Europe, North-America and the Middle-East.

The mission of this waterproject is to place a water desalination system in Gaza,  where safe drinking water for ordinary citizens is vanishing at a high rate.  

A man-made disaster
Palestine is not allowed to dig wells deep enough to gain sweet water by Israels occupational force. 
This polluted and salty water causes kidney and heart related diseases, an epidemic disease could happen at any moment. Half of Gaza' s children suffer from parasitic infections caused by this dirty water.  
Municipal tap water is too salty, so it is only suitable for household chores.  Citizens are obliged to buy bottled drinking water by private vendors.
Poor families spent 30% of their income on drinking water. It is just not to be hold on! 

A ticking time bomb...
Gaza is now just months away from running out of safe drinking water. That's why our quick action is required,  we would like to raise money as soon as possible! 
Aiming to place a desalination  device in  spring 2018, to provide safe drinking water for a residential area in Gaza, where about thousand people are living. 

Saving the life of Gaza's citizens, we are on the way!
This system costs € 10,000, and we collected already € 7,000 . 
A little more heart of people can dramatically change the situation of residents in a whole area.
