Baxter's Surgery

Baxter, our playful little kitten with Pectus Excavatum, is ready for his surgery and needs your help!
Baxter has a chest deformity known as "Pectus Excavatum" which can cause compression of the heart and lungs as he grows. After the amazing outpouring of support and help for his X-rays we have been able to get a consultation from several experts on Baxter's condition.
Baxter will need corrective surgery so that he is able to live a full and healthly life. We at The Cat Corner are commited to doing everything possible to ensure that this playful guy gets the best chance possible!
In spite of his condition, Baxter still loves to tumble with the other kittens! He is in foster care right now to prevent over-exertion and to prep him for his surgery.
Funds are needed ASAP to make sure Baxter can go back to being the playful, fun-loving kitten he is and lead a happy healthy life into adulthood.
The Cat Corner’s mission is to provide shelter and medical care for homeless cats in our area by:
-Actively seeking permanent & loving homes for the cats in our care.
-Providing lifelong care to those cats who for behavioral or medical reasons are unable to be adopted.
-Educating the public about responsible companion animal guardianship.
The Cat Corner, Inc. is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization that does not receive any federal, state or local government funding. We depend solely from the generosity of caring individuals from our community to continue to do our work.
