Eclipse represent UK - F1 in Schools World Final

We are a team from Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School in Faversham, Kent, competing in the world's biggest STEM competition for students, F1 in Schools.

The challenge is to design, test and manufacture a miniature Formula 1 car, powered by a CO2 cartridge, produce portfolios supporting the project, construct a pit display and deliver a verbal presentation. Click here for more information about the competition.

Our team, Eclipse, formed in 2019 after our predecessors, Evolve UK, became World Champions. Over the past 3 seasons, we've earned 15 awards over various competition stages. In January 2023, we achieved the pinnacle by being crowned UK National Champions. This honour grants us the privilege of representing the UK at the World Finals in Singapore this September.

With your support, we'll be able to attend the World Finals and be competitive against teams from over 40 countries. Your generosity will also open doors for our team to potentially secure university scholarships and Formula 1 work experience.

Your donation to our journey will not only benefit us but the wider community too. At Eclipse, we are committed to giving back to the local community and inspiring the next generation of engineers through schemes such as our Primary STEM Project. With over 300 students having already participated in the STEM day hosted at our school, we aim to leave a lasting legacy behind that allows this fun-filled educational experience to continue.
