Ebrahim’s Journey: From Tragedy to Triumph in Gaza

I am Yahya Roubos a Palestinian in Australia raising money for my friend Ebrahim Shawqi who has been trapped in Gaza. Ebrahim is a sweet 19 year old boy who is from Northern Gaza.

His life was shattered when his family was killed by an Israeli airstrike and he lost his beloved sister, her husband and her children.

Ebrahim has been forced to flee to Rafah where he faces uncertainty as to where he will find his next meal. He has already lost so much weight because of the difficulty in finding food.

Before the invasion, Ebrahim was studying nursing as he always was passionate about the health and well being of others.

Ebrahim wishes to survive under this intense bombing campaign and be able to continue to flee to continue his studies.

Ebrahim also wishes to save as many of his family members as possible.

With your help, Ebrahim and his family will be able to escape their harsh situation and spread the message of hope and survival.

The money transferred will go to me Yahya and I will send it to Ebrahim who will use it to escape Gaza, save himself and his family and continue his education. Unfortunately, go fund me does not allow money directly transferred to Gaza and so Ebrahim has allowed me to receive the money here in Australia where it will be transferred to Ebrahim.
