To our loyal guests, friends and family
At The Gentlemens Cutlery of Sacramento Barbershop (TGC), we truly value our clients and the relationships we’ve built with the community in and out of our chairs. Unfortunately, TGC has to follow statewide mandates that have resulted in non-essential businesses shutting down due to the effect of COVID-19. As we continue to monitor the situation closely, we want to assure you that we take this pandemic seriously and want to assist in reducing the spread of coronavirus. By temporary closing our shop, our mission is to help contribute to the community’s health and safety.
Here at TGC Barbershop, we service the community as independent contractors. Therefore, we do not receive sick pay, vacation time or PTO benefits. The shelter-in-place order has forced Marcus and I to shut down all operations. Therefore, our means to generate any income has ceased to a halt. In simple terms: if we do not work, we don’t get paid. The proceeds raised would allow us to continue to operate the establishment and pay for any financial hardship endured during the shut down. The simple fact remains that, unfortunately, we can not predict how long this pandemic will last.
It has truly been difficult to accept the severity of the financial burden we’re undergoing due to the adverse affects this pandemic. It would mean the world to us here at The Gentlemens Cutlery Barbershop to accept any donation that you’d be willing to contribute during this time. We’re eternally grateful for your continued support and we are counting down the days that we can service your hair care needs in our chairs once again and re-opened for business.
With utmost sincerity,
Marcus Ervin & Fernando Perez
