Charli ACl surgery

Hi, my name is Christian, I live in Rockport, Maine. My dog, Charli is three years old, she was a rescue from down south, she is a true character, an old soul trapped in a dogs body and is the love of my life. She has had one ACL surgery on her back right leg over a year ago, the vet said typically they need a second one. So, now Charlie needs the surgery on her back left leg, she is limping terribly and is in a good deal of pain. I saw her regular vet and she gave me some pet medication for her temporarily, but surgery is the only way to correct the problem. Charli is a very active girl, running and chasing sticks and swimming, and she has so much life ahead of her. I tried getting health insurance but they all have an exclusion if a dog has already had ACL surgery they won’t cover any further surgeries. The surgery runs right around $5000, I was able to sell my car to pay for her first one, but I simply don’t have the funds to pay for the second. I am a hard worker and a good person, and I have never asked for any sort of financial assistance, but I didn’t know where else to turn.
