Ebbw vale owl sanctuary

Like hundreds of places in south Wales 2020 has not been a very good year so far, it started in February with the storms and flood damage and then came March with the coronavirus. The Owl Sanctuary has been closed for a month due to the coronavirus and is looking likely to be closed for a further one to two months. We are not a business or a registered charity so do not qualify for any of the funds the government has made available. We are self funding and relay on the donations we receive from our wonderful visitors and education work we do but now we are closed all funding has stopped. We still have to feed and look after these wonderful birds and with a smaller dedicated team than normal (half our normal volunteers) we are doing our best to achieve this.
