Support my pipe organ study in Bremen, Germany

My name is Junseok Park, an organist, and originally having studied Industrial Design, I had always a strong urge to study organ music and share it with people. This led me finally to change the course of my life, and now I am studying early organ music in Bremen, Germany. (University of the Arts Bremen (Hochschule für Künste Bremen)) I gave a number of concerts in Korea, France, and Germany. Shortly after I began my study in Germany, the covid-19 pandemic broke out, which was like a head-on collision for a student studying abroad, and I was also severely affected. My financial difficulties still remain as the biggest obstacle for me to overcome to pursue my passion for music and my dream. As a mere foreign student who is not allowed to work for more than a certain amount of time, I alone cannot solve this problem, and need people's support and helps so that I can fully concentrate on my study and finally share my music and its beauty with people over the world, continuing my musical journey.

I am giving my 1-hour-long bachelor concert on the 13th of July in St. Cyprian und Cornelius Church, Ganderkesee, Lower-Saxony, Germany (Am Ring 14, 27777 Ganderkesee, Deutschland), on one of the most renowned historical Arp-Schnitger organs in Europe. This concert is open to everyone and I invite you all cordially. The Buxtehude(1637-1707) Piece in the video shown on this page was played on this organ. 독일에서의 오르간 공부를 안정적으로 계속할 수 있도록 여러분들의 지원과 도움을 요청합니다. 한눈팔지 않고 오롯이 학업과 음악에 매진하기 위해서 무엇보다도 경제적인 뒷받침이 절실한 상황입니다. 브레멘 국립예술대가 위치한 브레멘과 주위 권역 니더작센 주의 다양한 오르간으로 연주한 1시간 분량의 음악 동영상을 캠페인의 소개로 올렸습니다. 이를 보시며 제가 그렇게 공부하길 소망했던 바로크 오르간 음악과 고음악(early music)의 세계를 체험해보시길 바랍니다.

한동안은 규범적인 인생을 살며 음악 울타리 바깥에만 머물렀지만 그 길을 박차고 떠나, 숨길 수 없었던 고전음악에 대한 크나큰 열정을 현실화하기 위해 본고장 독일로 와 쉽사리 갈 수 없는 길을 밟으며 학업을 시작한지도 이제 4년이 다 되갑니다. 팬데믹으로 시작되었고 아직도 현재진행형인 경제적 고비를 잘 넘겨, 앞으로는 여러분의 도움에 힘입어 무르익을 저의 음악과 예술을 세계의 다양한 곳에서 직접 선보일 수 있으면 좋겠습니다. 이 캠페인에서 저를 지원해 주시는 분들은 이곳을 통로로 계속 저와 메시지 형태로 소통하실 수 있으니 음악과 관련하여 제게 바라는 점이나 제가 도움드릴 수 있는 일이 있으시면 몇자 남겨주셔도 좋습니다.

1시간 길이의 독주회인 학사 졸업연주가 2023년 7월 13일 니더작센 주 간더케제 성 키프리아누스 코넬리우스 교회(Am Ring 14, 27777 Ganderkesee, Deutschland)의 아르프 슈니트거 오르간에서 열리는 것으로 예정되어 있습니다. 작년 하반기 초입까지도 팬데믹으로 인해 계속 비공개로 치뤄지던 졸업연주회를 다시 공개 연주회로 진행할 수 있다는 점이 감개무량합니다. 타국에서의 연주회에 선뜻 여러분의 방문을 청하는 것은 무리겠지만, 관심과 응원만으로도 큰 힘이 될 것입니다.
