Eastern High's band director, Mr. Perry, car fund

Hi, my name is Cameron McKinney and I am creating this GoFundMe to raise money for Eastern High School's band director, James Perry. Perfectly captured in the inspiring Washington Post article by Lizzie Johnson, Marching band parades on Capitol Hill to practice, Perry has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to his students at Eastern High School. As Lizzie noted, he sold his car a couple of years ago to fund trips and opportunities for the band program. He’s consistently stood in the gap for his talented children, so let’s do the same for him! 

Mr. Perry has commented on this action by stating “It would be such a blessing to have a car; especially to transport some of our scholar's home after rehearsing and on mornings that we have early performance report times to the school and the metro isn’t running!!”. Let’s support Mr. Perry with a vehicle that will provide him ease and comfort whilst continuously supporting the needs of his program.
