Support East Aurora Aktion Club!

8.1 Update: Whoa and wow! Thank you from The Aktion Club, the athletes & me. Since Aktion Club funds have such a positive impact for people with developmental disabilities - we're going to humbly go for $3500. Game on.

My sister Katie and her teammates play in a softball league in East Aurora, NY. They are competitive, determined, kind and proud. So are their biggest fans - East Aurora Aktion Club members, friends and family. 

These athletes also happen to be adults with developmental disabilities. 

Many of these athletes don't have the resources to buy softball gloves. Which is where this campaign comes in...

My ask: Funds please for softball gloves & more. $1500 would buy 30 gloves (@ $50 a piece).

$3500 goal: I'm incredibly grateful to the Aktion Club - and for their impact in East Aurora - so I've set the goal at $3500. The need exceeds softball gloves.

All funds will go directly to the East Aurora Aktion Club (a division of the 501c3 Kiwanis Foundation).

$10 gets Aktion Club athletes two mid-game high fives.

$25 Five high fives! Go Aktion Club go. 

$50 buys one glove. Yay. Victory dance on home plate. 

$75 gets your name in a pre-game cheer. 

$100 gets you an Aktion Club team photo autographed by select athletes. 

$250 gets you reserved bleacher seats (or picnic blanket) @ an Aktion Club game.
