Earthquake Zagreb- Historical Rado rebuild
Donation protected
Dear All, I am pleading for any assistance in helping out my friends in Zagreb, who were badly affected by the recent earthquake in March of this year.
My very good friend Estera was living in one of the apartments in the historical city centre Rado building which was badly affected.
Six chimneys collapsed and caused extensive damage to the roof, beams , walls and windows. Rain is now entering the building causing further damage.
The stability of the whole building is in question and emergency repair work is of utmost importance,
My friends are not looking for donations for repair of their own individual apartments but for the emergency structural repair of the communal area of the building, such as the roof, chimney repairs, beams and bricks.
They have applied for whatever assistance they can get from the government, but this is a lengthy slow process and may only contribute to a quarter of the expenses.
Therefore I am humbly asking of you, any donation, however small you can afford to contribute in order that I may assist my friends to carry out the necessary emergency repair works before any further damages ensues.
Please forward this message to anyone you think may be in a position to help out
Thanks for taking the time to read his and thanks to all of you who have expressed concern. It is greatly appreciated.
How works progress will periodically be shared so that every single euro contributed to the campaign will be accounted for and traceable.
