Raising resources for SURVIVORS of abuse

In November of 2021 the father of my, then, 5 month old son threw my body like a rag doll through my television before body slamming me into our son’s bouncy seat while our son was only a few feet away screaming.
This horrible incident was caught on my home surveillance cameras. I provided the evidence to the Oakland, Fl police department where they decided the incident was simple battery. I requested an investigation because I believed the charges were too minor for the egregious act he committed in my living room, on a sunny Saturday afternoon. It took 4 days for them to do an investigation and issue a warrant. By that time the perpetrator was on the run to Nashville.
I released the videos, that went viral, because I felt that I was not safe and that there was no accountability for the habitual abuse. Even after the release of these videos, things have not been easy. I suffered permanent injury to my spine, among other things, due to the aggravated battery and even still this abuser continues to walk free on $1000 bail with no monitoring. There is a stay away order, however… During the first hearing, the judge released him without allowing me to be heard. The judge released my abuser to a home with multiple weapons, to a man with a violent history himself, in another state, even though he had a home in florida, with no restrictions besides surrendering his passport. At the second hearing, the judge put a restriction on him to stay out of Florida and then allowing him to be released to a resort like rehab center in Colorado. Once released from rehab he would be residing in Alabama, but there is no monitoring.
So while we await arraignment, I am here trying to ensure my own safety while continuing to raise awareness for what survivors have to endure.
These funds will be helping to start a charity organization called “Say It Out Loud” that will be partnering with other foundations to provide necessities to survivors of abuse in HeteroNorm & LGBTQ+ relationships.
I hope to bring healing through art.
