Ironman 70.3 World Championships

Hi! I'm Anna, and I'm a passionated age group triathlete going to my first world championship!

I've been fond of swimming all my life and everything that has to do with water. Of course, adding a competitive perspective to it makes it even better. After being a competitive swimmer for a long time, I moved on to freediving, and now I have fallen in love with triathlon.

In 2019, I gave myself an early birthday present: a ticket for the Copenhagen Ironman 2020. Due to covid, it got postponed to 2021. Yay! More time to practice and get better! I also signed up for the half ironman in Elsinore, Denmark. My two first races :) When you have done it once, of course, you can do it twice! So, I signed up for the same two races in 2022. In Elsinore, I got in 5th in my age group and qualified for the world championship in St. George, Utah, US.

This is where you come in :) I really love doing sports! As I've done all my life, but I cannot make it on my own. Every single contribution - no matter the size - will be greatly appreciated! The fund will be used to pay ESTA to enter the US, for the flight ticket, the stay in Saint George, car rental, etc.

I'm so excited about going! I've heard that St. George is one of the most challenging competitions seen in Ironman race.
