Ridley needs Surgery

Friday Septemeber 5th, 2014 Ridley had an accident while he was down visiting at the barn helping to take care of the horses with Amy.
Immediately following the accident, Amy rushed him to her vet where he was then determined to be stable, yet xrays showed an injury to his hip and she was that told he would need immediate surgery to repair this.
Amy and Ridley preceeded to Medvet, where after a consultation with the E.R. Doctor it was confirmed that surgery is required in order to properly repair the injury to his hip.
This surgery is going to cost just over $3,000.00 which does not include all of his follow up vists, required medications,weekly bandage changes etc.
Ridley spent the night at MedVet and is currently being kept sedated, monitored and will be going in for surgery today, Saturday September 6th.
We all know how much Amy loves her animals and how she will always do anything and everything possible to ensure the happiness, healthiness and safety of her pets.
Amy has always gone above and beyond to help others (2 legged and 4) She has spent many years dedicating her life to advocating, fostering, rescuing and helping to save the lives of thousands of animals throughout the years, she even operated her own rescue for several years.
Amy is always the first person to offer help to a friend and sometimes even to a complete stranger in need without ever asking for a anything in return.
Like most of us times get hard, money gets tight and having such a large unforseen expense dropped in her lap without notice is proving to be quite difficult especially with all the other extra expenses she currently has.
We all know Amy would never come out and ask for this help for herself, yet I feel like it is our turn to Pay it Forward after everything she has done not only for me but for many others as well.
We can do this ! Evey little bit counts !
