My (Medical) Journey.

First off, thanks for visiting. I expect that most won't support or agree, and that's your choice just as this is mine (even though it isn't easy).
I've created this channel of support to help me on my journey to finally be me. 24 years in, and I have finally confronted myself and taken a stand to be who I truly am, and who I identify as.
I've worked incredibly hard life to date to get where I am today, to make a difference, take a stand, be an individual, try to have fun, and accept what I cannot change. This is finally something I am standing to change.
I have embarked on my new journey, identifying as male, Carsyn Denney. After 24 years of looking in the mirror I finally am fighting it's reflection to show something that matches the heart inside me and the blood flowing through my veins.
The blood that flows through my veins makes me just as normal as you, but unfortunately, I cannot play with the deck of cards I was given. I am making a change. I am going to embark on an amazing but potentially excruciating journey so that I can feel good about who I am, and live life just like everyone else. I have to believe that I deserve to be happy just as much as anyone else, and I won't give up until I feel comfortable in my own skin.
So I have to ask, I have to challenge you... Reach into your happiness, reach into your heart, Share it and take a stand with me. I need help. In November 2014, on my birthday, I will undergo a chest gender reassignment surgery and take an extraordinary leap toward the individual (physical being) I am meant to be.
My insurance policy denied this procedure although it is a state mandate to have it covered. I unfortunately lost the battle with them, but I have to believe I'm not completely alone. Any gift is appreciated, if you can't give, then click share to spread the awareness.
