Fighting for my life.

Hello Family & Friends, I have been diagnosed with Sarcoma(Cancer) in March 2013. I was diagnosed with Lupus (anti-coagulant) in August 2013. This Lupus is very deadly and causes blood clots. I underwent Chemo and Radiation to fight the cancer. In October 2013, I had surgery on my neck to remove the nerves and suffered a stroke. I was hosptialized at Cedars and before leaving I had to learn how to walk again.  I now suffer from chronic pain in my neck, spine and legs. Some days its very hard to stand and walk and sit up for prolonged times. I am now limited on what I can do: I can't be in the sun, I have nerve damage that causes my hands and legs to shake. Thats the residual from the stroke. I had another stroke in January 2014, which I was rushed to hospital by ambulance from my cousins birthday party as my body spasmed and locked up and I fell down. I was hospitalized again. I have been doing physical and occupational therapy since November 2013 to current. I am trying to regain my strength as much as I can and have better ambulation since I am suffering from left an right side weakness. I am currently taking 25 different medications in order to self sustain in life. The cancer has affected my bladder and uterus. I am going to have reconstructive surgery on my bladder and remove my uterus in October 2014. I am currently on the Bladder transplant list. I fight as hard I do because of my 11yr old son. He is my greatest inspiration. He is my source of motivation as I lost my mother at 17yrs old from Cancer. I have a excellent support system that also keeps me going. This is very hard for me. I have always been independent, the one to help others and carry the world on my shoulder but now I can't do it. The cancer has now spreaded to my skin and its very painful. I was going to opt for Hospice care but many conversations with my Dad, cousins, family and friends they suggest I fight on. I know God has the final say so. As I embark on my next round of treatment to help me fight my newest diagnosis I am in need of assistance. The medication is very expensive. My insurance has approved my medication that I will need to take every week however, I don't have the co-payments for the cost of the medication. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars fighting the first round of cancer. I will have to undergo 6mos of treatment to become free. I am asking that anyone that can help me fight the next round I would be forever appreciative. The medication will be delivered every month to my Dr.'s office to administer every week to me. I know God will help me along this journey. It has been tough and I ask that you all keep me in your prayers. I know God is also a miracle healer and he won't put too much on me that I can't bare. In closing, I want to say, "Thank you" and "God is good all the time". I luv you all and thanks for taking your time to assist me.

Extremely appreciative - Mimi
