Fund a Floor For Micah J!

Micah J is our precious three, almost four year old son. He was born 10 weeks early along side his stillborn twin brother. While his stay in the NICU was shorter than expected (6 weeks) he was diagnosed with PVL, which ultimately led to him having Cerebral Palsy. Micah's specific type of CP is called Spastic Diplegia (or even triplegia) or Hypertonia. Micah is a very smart and happy little boy who loves Super Mario and cars. His limitations are physical, and at almost four years old he cannot walk on his own or stand alone, and requires our assistance or use of his walker. Unfortunately, our home has a lot of carpet and it makes it very difficult if not impossible for Micah to navigate in his walker through our own home. He also has a wheel chair on order, and the carpet again will prove to be a hindrance.

Micah's daddy is an active duty service member in the Air Force, and while our insurance covers many if his medical expenses, it does not cover any sort of accessibility alteration to our home. Any help will be greatly appreciated beyond what you could even imagine. The goal number above is a low-ball estimate for what it will cost to buy the flooring for our home (kitchen, living area, bathroom and hallway) and my husband intends to install it himself to save on cost.
