Hi guys!
So since I was about 8 years old, I have been suffering with an auto immune disease called psoriasis. I have had a few severe flare ups over the course of my life but as of late, it has hit me harder than ever before. About 4 weeks ago I noticed it had begun to spiral and now here I am. Constantly in pain, itching and generally depressed about how I look and feel for the majority of my day. As I am a personal trainer, this can be a very debilitating disease. I am expected to look healthy and be a role model for my clients. This disease has effected my self esteem, my confidence and overall quality of life. Over the years I have tried everything - creams, ointments, drugs, painful steroid creams, herbs, naturopaths, dermatologists - you name it. And it's proving almost impossible for me to keep up with the costs involved to get no where. I am part of a very, very small percentage of people who has a 90% coverage on my body. So basically, creams aren't quite cutting it!
So I have researched a treatment called Cryotherapy which is proving to have some amazing results, however it is costly and I need at least 25/30 sessions. So I am reaching out to my friends and family and asking if you could generously donate to help me start this treatment and hopefully get my life back!
