Garden of Hope: Help us start a charity in Congo.

Our names are Frida and Nicolas Toto and we have a dream of starting up a project in Seke Banza, a rural district in the Democratic Republic of Congo.  At the moment we are based in Sweden, Frida's home country, together with our three young children. Nicolas, who grew up in Congo, has always had on his heart to help the poor in his country.  As he has experiensed growing up an orphan, battling poverty as well as a disability, his heart goes out to people in similar conditions. The plan is to start off by  investing in land and start with agriculture .  We already have a plot of land in Seke Banza which serves as our home when we visit the site. If things go well, we plan to construct an orphanage and start an educational centre where people can learn professional skills such as agriculture, construction, sewing, arts etc.  It would mean a lot for us if we could get help  to get this project started as we have very little funds ourselves.  We will also create a page where people can follow the progress we make over time. We decided to name our project Garden of Hope, because we  want to see hope spire in the lives of those we are helping.
