Help Robert and his family.

Meet Robert Chrisopher, he was born on 8/16/14 with Down's Syndrome. He was 7 lbs. 1 oz. and 19.5 inches long. We were told Robert was "perfect" and he came home after 2 days on 8/18/14. All was going well until a routine visit to his pediatrician for a weight check on Friday 8/22/14 when while in the parking lot he began to vomit a bright yellow material. Once inside Robert's pediatrician looked him over and quickly informed us that he may have a blockage and that we should take him to the ER. Robert was then admitted into the NICU. After a couple of days and a battery of tests, including blood draws, x-rays and echocardiograms, it was found that Robert was not as "perfect" as we were told. He has a hole between the ventricles of heart, fluid in his lungs, a blood disorder and possible Hirshsprung's Disease. As of 9/3/14 we are still waiting on the latest pathology report to determine if it is indeed Hirshsprung's Disease. We were told by the pediatric surgeon that they are 97% sure that Robert has the disease. The Hirshsprung's Disease and the heart defect will need to be surgically corrected. The fluid in his lungs can be controlled with drugs and will correct itself once his heart is repaired. The blood disorder will probably correct itself with age, but the hematologist wants to keep a close eye on Robert.

Because of Robert's issues, I have been spending my time up at the hospital and with my wife and my other 2 boys and missing work. If you could find it in your heart to help my family and to pray for us, it would be greatly appreciated.
